Can you help me with my xbox 360?

I was trying to fix my xbox 360 i put the paste and everything. When i turned it on the first time it over heated. I let it cool down for like 30 min then when i put it back on the power brink blinked red and went back to orange and still have the 3 rings. I tried my friends power brick and got the same results and on his 360 it works just fine. can someone help me please because i really want to play my 360 again
