Congested nose please help!?

Hi, I have had my nose very congested and now it feels like the back of my nose and throat are sore all the time... in the morning when I blow my nose sometimes a little blood comes out which worries me, some one told me it might be irritated but i have taken medication for that before and it helps but never fully dissapears, what should I do?
