Does coming off marvelon give you spots?

I was on marvelon for about 5 years and have recently come off it and have now developed oily skin on my forehead and as a result I am suffering with spots, some with white heads on some seem to be filled with painfull puss. I have tried keeping my face clean but this doesnt seem to do any good. Has anyone else suffered from this since coming off marvelon as I cant think that it woudl be anything else causing these spots as my diet has not changed, or my soaps, detergents etc. Please help!!
