Question about FedEx?

I ordered a package via FedEx SmartPost, and 2 days ago it said it departed from orlando, and it never arrived to any other fedex, its been two days and it still says that it had "departed" it hasnt gone "in transit" anywhere, is this normal? do they just not update the tracking info on weekends? or has it really been in a damn car for 48 hours, LOL
