Why English can be the most popular language of the world today?

What exactly is the goal of this question? This is very zenophobic. American's don't even speak proper English. I don't really understand your use of the word "popular" when referring to language. And the romance languages are very easy to learn. Although I'm uming English is your first language, so you're biased in your umption that it is the "easiest" to learn. I don't really care if you want to hand English the award for most popular language. I simply hope its not your goal to erase the rest of the worlds languages. English is my first language, German my second, Spanish my third and I wouldn't want the worlds culture to dissapear for your convenience. And language is a huge part of culture.. like I said earlier.. American's don't speak proper English... we have our own brand our english and even divided further by the section of the country you live in.. example.. southern, brooklyn, boston, cali, etc.
